Here’s some fireworks blowing up in Callander. The guys launching off the fireworks let the crowd get quite close, so you could literally look straight up and take pictures. Pretty cool.
This is actually taken in the town that I grew up in (Callander, Ontario, Canada, in case you’re wondering). This alleyway is the back of the strip mall that houses a few stores in the town. It kind of looks like a ghost town.
This stump has been there for a long time (I think my dad cut the tree down at some point, but I don’t remember exactly when — I think I was quite young). It’s looking a bit weathered.
It looks a bit like this tree is growing out of this little green shack, but unfortunately, that’s not the case. I’m not exactly sure what this shack is used for, but it looks like it’s in desperate need of repairs. Someone did once go to the trouble of painting the chimney bricks the same [...]
I don’t really have too much to say about this photo, except that it’s of a swing set from the side. The swing set somehow looks bored in the photo.
This log standing there by itself reminded me of a high school kid standing against a wall trying to look cool for some reason (too bad there are no other logs around to see how cool it is).
I was walking beside the lake last week, and I came across this big piece of driftwood. I wonder if it just washed up there on its own, or if someone put it there. Anyway, not much of a story to this picture.
