When I had originally heard that the Quebec ice hotel had glasses made of ice, I think I was expecting something slightly different. It turns out the glasses are more just cubes of ice that have a small hole drilled into the centre, which can be filled up with alcohol. The inside of the glass is more like a shot glass than a regular drinking glass.

A few drinks before bed make the sub-zero temperatures in the ice hotel room a little more bearable (along with a dip in the hot tub to warm up before bed).
